A free browser game about shovelling snow
Snowed Under
Half a metre fell overnight. The car is somewhere under there, the plow is on its way and winter took everyone by surprise. Again. Grab a shovel and dig your way to the top of the leaderboard.
No download. No sign-up. Works on your phone.

Shovel, throw, repeat
Scoop up the snow and carry it onto the lawn: the lawn never complains. The snow is soft and every pass of the shovel leaves a trail.
Plow and order
The city plow loves its job and your freshly cleared driveway. Get out of its way, or start digging again.
Gear up
Spend what you earn on a better shovel, a snow blower or a tiny tractor. Every model shines at something and stinks at something else.
12 levels of increasingly deep trouble
From your own driveway to an airport runway and a stadium on cup final night.
Level 1Driveway to Success
It snowed overnight and your car is somewhere under there.

The regional airport has one runway, one plane on approach and one tractor.

Cup final tonight, the pitch is under a duvet of snow and the TV crew is already setting up.
Shovel shopping
No boring “+1” upgrades: real models with real quirks. A few picks from the Shovel Shack:
- Shovel
Silver Arrow
Feather-light aluminium: barely slows you down and throws really far, even over a hedge.
- Shovel
Pushy McPushface
Pushes a whole wall of snow ahead of you, no lifting.
- Boots
Granny's Grippers
Granny's winter classic: grip on ice like glue, a decent pace everywhere.
- Snow blower
Snow Cannon Kaboom
Throws snow halfway across the map.
- Vehicle
Tiny Tractor
Fast, heavy, with a two-tile blade.
- Vest
Christmas Tree Vest
Blinks like a Christmas tree: the plow honks way earlier and your first two hits are free.
Many hands make light snow
Play together on one map, 2 to 4 people. One person opens a room and shares a 4-letter code or a link, everyone else joins in. Each player brings their own gear, the camera follows you and the server splits the pay fairly.

The daily map: same snow for everyone
A new map every day, identical for all players. Win it day after day to build up a streak bonus, climb the daily and weekly leaderboards and tick off weekly challenges. The server replays every game to check the result, so the leaderboard stays clean. Unlike the pavements.
- A new map every midnight (UTC)
- Streak bonus for winning day after day
- Weekly leaderboard and weekly challenges
- Achievements with cash rewards
This board could be yours
The stadium boards, the gas station sign and the billboards on fences are real ad slots. For now they advertise made-up companies, but your logo fits just as well. Static images only: no advertiser scripts or cookies, nothing that slows the game down.
- Boards on the stadium, gas station and fences
- “Level sponsor” badge on the results screen, with a link
- Views and clicks counted, no player tracking
- English and Polish versions of the game
Frequently shovelled questions
Is it free?
Yes. The game is free to play in your browser. In-game money is earned only by shovelling: there is nothing to buy with real money. Boards and billboards in the game carry ads – for now from made-up companies such as Plow & Behold.
Does it work on a phone?
Yes. On a touchscreen you get a virtual joystick and action buttons. It plays best in landscape, but portrait works too. You can also add it to your home screen like an app.
Do I need an account?
No. The game starts right away and your progress is saved automatically. Signing in with Google is optional: it keeps your progress across devices and lets you pick a nickname for the leaderboard.
Can I play with friends?
Yes: “Play with others” in the menu puts 2 to 4 people on one map, joined with a room code. It needs an internet connection.
How do I play?
WASD or arrow keys to move, Space for the tool action (throw snow, sprinkle salt, turn the blower chute), Q to switch tools, P or Esc to pause. On a phone: joystick and buttons.
What data do you collect?
Game results (to verify scores and build the leaderboards) and, if you agree in the banner, Google Analytics stats about how the game is played. Without your consent Analytics only counts anonymously, without cookies. No ads tracking, nothing is sold.
Is there a Polish version?
Tak! The game speaks English and Polish (as “Łopatologia”). Switch the language in the menu or on this page.
We use Google Analytics to see which levels are too hard and what to fix. No ads, no selling data. OK?
